This man moved up to \u00a3200,000, of major drug money, each time he went over to Europe, and he did that twice a week. He always travelled first class, pretending he was a surveyor. He was such a regular traveller that the ferry company presented him with a “Golden Customer” award of a antique style naval telescope. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

It was known that he changed at least \u00a31M every 14 days in Worthing’s Chapel Road Currency Exchange. Even though his actions were reported many times, Sussex Police did not take action.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He was conned once when he was given a load of fake 50 Euro Notes – which were originally printed as stage props. He asked Securicheck to try and recover the money from the criminals in France. These forged notes were taken to the Met and also shown to Interpol in Dieppe. He was pretending to be a “poor little businessman<\/em>” – got to admire his front. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sussex Police would do nothing and dropped the investigation. They all failed to identify him as a major international money launder. It ended a year later when the Customs sniffer dog picked him out and HMRC, who did the work, put him away.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Following what was obvious a Perversion of the Course of Justice by the Police in this matter I reported it to their Professional Standards Department. I suppose that I should not have been surprised at the response – but to have accepted so many blatant lies, and ignoring of the facts, was a new low, even for them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
