So, this long term fraudster and thief is what can be recommended to the Judge as “a man of good character” !!
The word TRAVESTY hardly does this justice – oh, did I say the word JUSTICE?
It certainly did not happen here.
The case was specially heard early – at the request of Scrace’s Police Handlers – so that his victims would not be in Court to hear the lies being told or be able to complain or counter them. Plus, as can be seen from the transcript they edited down the number of cases.
Sentencing was even more of a farce – following the “Mitigation” that Scrace had been “hounded into his illegal activities” (The aforementioned Police Perjury) he served a few hours in the Court cell. His victims were never recompensed. Scrace went on to commit further crimes related to his “motoring matters”.
